2009 XC70 Active Bi-Xenon Steering (bendy) Headlights
The problem is that 1 headlight does not 'steer'.
Daylight & when 'bendy' turned off: points straight ahead. (Passes MoTs OK as it is daylight.)
Dark: headlights 'up & down' adjust correctly when ign on.
Then left headlight points to left and stays there. Right light works OK.
LED on switch flashes.
Fault is intermittent (almost all the time). i.e.: it may work for 30 seconds then it stops (& stays squinting for rest of journey.
My big concern is that a garage fits £1,000 parts at random at my expense.
That is why for >40 years I have done all my maintenance and fault finding.
I would really appreciate any ideas (the boss is getting agitated). Thanks for help. Nic
