A Little Water Crossing in MY '04 XC70

We've been having a LOT of rain down here in Florida over the last few weeks. It really has nowhere to go so my street flooded. Fortunately it went down enough to get out of the driveway at least. I really need to put a BadSwede lift on my XC...[cool2]

Anyhow, I though some might enjoy these shots.

Ha! Wow, I guess I didn't need to wait for the water to recede before I backed out! That's some deep water! Any reports of damage from this crossing??

Blue XC was dangerously close to sucking water into the air intake. Suck water into the intake, you could easily hydro lock the engine...both destroying the engine and leaving you stranded. Don't drive where water comes up the grill...too close to the intake on this car.

That was 4 or 5 years ago, so far so good.
