both fronts, then both rears if fronts slip a little

Not under load they don't, these do not have a ltd. slip
My best guess by the way the torque steer is on FWDs would be the left wheel

Could it be the right front? Anecdotal evidence seems to indicate that the right front axle wears faster possibly indicating wear due to torque?

We live (and drive...) at the end of 8 miles of dirt and gravel.
In the best conditions there's tire slip all along the way.
Judging on tire wear on the V70XC (215k miles) and the XC90 (96k miles) I'd guess the front left.

I thought someone here would know for sure.
