Can I drive this home? Trans PNP switch question

Hello All!

A question: I'm considering purchasing a 1999 V70XC with 129k. It currently has the flashing up arrow which points to the PNP switch as being unhappy. The question: Can I drive the car like this without damaging anything, especially the transmission? I have about 100 miles to get it home 25% city and 75% highway. Once home I would replace the switch ASAP.

You really don't know what the flashing arrow is
telling you without reading the transmission codes.
You might want to do that before you buy.

Regardless what it is, you don't want to drive it that far
But you better find out before your buy, it could be a transmission that's about ready to croak.
Flashing arrow does not necessarily mean a bad PNP switch
