Here (http://imgur.com/a/Powhp) are the not so good pictures of my 04 XC70. Haven't detailed it yet as the weather always seems to be gloomy when I get a new car. It has 147k miles. My last car (traded as a down payment) was a 2000 lesabre limited here (http://imgur.com/a/Fvswh) are the pictures from that. My questions ,as far as the Volvo goes, are about the general failures from wear/tear. I'm pretty much DIY with maintenance as my lesabre was pretty demanding in that area (part of why I let it go). Here (http://imgur.com/a/f5I98) Is the most expensive and laborious repair I did. Lower intake gasket failure.
Also, on my way home from the dealer I noted a random harsh shift. I can't duplicate it yet but so far it's getting better. I believe it to be from sitting with a flat battery for awhile and also from not being driven since feb.
TL:DR. Volvo newb here. What parts fail with wear. what else should I be looking for.
