Rhd Dead Pedal

Hi there. I'm the proud new owner of a 2005 XC70 SE. Had it all checked out prior to purchase and am really happy with it so far.
However.......
I was wondering if anyone had installed a drivers foot rest or dead pedal into a RHD model. I would find this feature so much more comfortable for my left 'dicky' knee!
I see you can get a V70 RHD pedal set online that includes a dead pedal. Would this fit an XC70 or could it be made to fit?

I'm going to take a guess and say the dead pedal is the same specifications down there for LHD cars which would mean it's the same for RHD.

Seems weird that Volvo gives the LHD models a dead pedal but doesn't give one to the RHD models?

A dead pedal is for your LEFT foot not the throttle (RIGHT) foot
Where would a dead pedal go in a RHD car?
In the center of the vehicle?????

Yep goes on the left (next to the console). Well it would if it had one!

I believe the RHD V70R's have the dead pedals fitted.

I really don't understand why they wouldn't have fitted them in the XC70?

Since I've never seen a RHD R I can't confirm that, but if they do, just order it from Volvo.
The tunnel is the same so it would bolt right up

On mine it is like a plastic that's been painted onto the carpet. Is not a real dead pedal, it's just molded on there.
