Rear seat safety latch broken

Hi, I recently tried to fold down my rear seats when I noticed that the driver side rear seat's safety latch won't unlock anymore (I can still move it side to side, but it refuses to unlock the seat). I'm leaving for a trip tomorrow and so I'm starting to panic. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Or maybe even just a temporary solution?
