Daughter is the new happy owner of GOLDIE, 2002 XC with 81K miles, impeccably maintained by the wonderful local indy here in central NJ. This car looks like new, and we are determined to keep it that way, problem: no garage, daughter is 60mile a day commuter, can't handwash,at least not in winter! Any advice on how to care for this great car when you can't handwash it ? Been reading how some commercial car washes can be disastrous for paint, etc. Thanks PS of course her color is ash gold

welcome,

rinse, rinse and rinse
did I say rinse yet...

Most important when washing a car is to rinse it well before U touch it with anything.
U can use self service power washing stations that use a pressure washer and not touch paint at all.
Now is the time to get it wash and wax at least a couple of times before roads will have snow and salt on them.
Use MGuires stuff gold class and U will not be disappointed, easy to use, apply and buff.
