Thanks to Mastiha for sending me the Australian Cross Country brochure! I'll post more soon!
As far as I know, these two accessories are not available here in North America:

Rear Center Console/Armrest:

The rear storage/cupholder accessory shown is available in N/A depending on your rear seat configuration. If you ordered a '01 XC without the optional child booster seats, then you would have gotten the regular center console like I did. I saw a '01 XC in the showroom today, and it had the exact same rear storage bin shown in the photo along with the booster seats. BTW, those fog lights are soo cool! http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

really? Was that a standard feature for all 2001's? Mine's a 40-20-40 split with no booster seats and I only got a basic fold down section. No worries since I use the fridge in there pretty much full time, but still... http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

My XC has also a basic fold down section of 40-20-40 split function with no booster seats.  As far as I know, there is no option for rear center console/armrest as shown in the above photo. I have 2002 Japanese model XC brochure in hand, there is no change about seat arrangement.

Sorry for all of the confusion surrounding this particular item. After speaking with Volvo Canada and then again with my service manager, the rear storage bin with retractable cupholder device is only available on those '01/'02 vehicles ordered with the 60/40 split seat configuration. Not to sure about overseas though. Since my vehicle is also one with a 40/20/40 split, I'm out of luck.

Just to confim that I have the 60/40 configuration (with the integrated child seats) and the rear storage bin with retractable cupholder device. Don't want to rub it in but it's great http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif .

Mastiha,

Can you find out how much the Auxiliary Light Kit costs, and if it includes those lights and a wiring harness?

And can I send you some Paypal &#36? http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I'll ask them. Also, the oval shape is not available (there's a little comment in the broucher saying they are round and not as pictured). They look like these:

Great photos Mastiha! I especially like the one with the integrated keypad. Looks just like the one in the brochure. http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

oops, I should have mentioned the fact that the oval lights aren't available from Volvo.. even though they look awesome.

Also, it looks like the fogs are mounted to the license plate frame which sure would be a bonus, no drill holes. http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Oh sweet... I think I may have found the oval ones for aftermarket sale, and they're Hella's, bonus!

Direct link to product at StylinConcepts.com (http://www.stylinconcepts.com/parts.cfm/partfamilyid/348/categoryid/10/subcategoryid/49).

Now my concern would be why Volvo is no longer offering them for sale direct. Plus, whether or not you get the light mounts and Volvo buttons on their own... hmmm.. the plot thickens...

OK, it took a while but the price for the auxiliary lights cost around &#36500 AUS. THis includes the globes, light covers and mounting kit.

That's for the big round ones, correct?

I'm still sort of partial to the oval ones... anyone seen an XC with them mounted? We've got that one photo but it only shows the grille up close.

Yeah, that's for the big ones and I saw them on a xc driving behind me today and they didn't look all that bad but I haven't seen the oval ones.
