Window settings Reseting

Ok had to replace the wifes passenger side window in her 04 XC

Does anyone know how to reset the window stops ?

I know its something simple as holding the button down or something [thumbup]

Identify the fuse that corresponds to the passenger window from the left dash side area.

Bring window all the way down, push auto up and while window is moving up remove the fuse. (this clears the memory)

Reinstall the fuse and bring the window down and then up manually(not auto up). When you reach the top hold switch up for about 10 sec.

Now try the auto window settings, it should be aligned properly.

Worked for my XC90 the day before yesterday. Turned ignition to aux, rolled the window halfway down, pulled the fuze (#5 f/XC90), turned off ignition, replaced fuze, turned ignition to aux, rolled window to bottom stop, raised window to top stop and held for 10 seconds.:)

Sometimes you don't have to pull the fuse. Just roll it all the way down and hold it for a few seconds and then roll it all the way up and hold it for a few seconds until you feel it make a little secondary click then then try the auto options. Sometimes that works
