Is that possible? I mean mounting aftermarket.
When I ordered my car I thought it wasn't so useful.
But with leather seats I must recognize it would be very nice http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif having some heat under my back in winter http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif

I'd like to know if wiring is always present and if it's not too difficult to insert the heating elements.

Hi Nick, http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

This was a hot topic of discussion in this thread (http://www.volvospy.com/w-agora4/view.php?bn=volvospy_generalubb&key=1040940984&first=1042890228&last=1042400664) over at one of the other forums.

I'll let you decide what to make of the last poster's comment. http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh2.gif

Thanks a lot Art!
I knew about that forum but i didn't search the argument there http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
Well if I decide to put on seat heaters I'll be very careful using them as less as possible!  http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Before my new car I had a Audi A6.
The interiors were not leather but velvet.
With leather I've found it would be nice to feel a little warm for the first minutes when starting, but I would never keep the heater always on!!
I'm gonna call my local retailer and ask.
Now the matter is price... http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sly.gif

By the way Art,
how do you feel driving with 17'' wheels?
I was interested in that for summer driving but my retailer always tells me that it's not a good idea, because the suspensions would feel too 'hard'.

I love my car for its comfort, I don't want it to become a race car!   http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif

Thank you!
