Hu-613 frequency settings usa vs europe

Even though I currently live in Italy my new 2003 XC is a U.S. spec. vehicle since I will be shipping it back to the States this summer. In the meantime the HU-613 radio can only tune in odd numbered radio frequencies,i.e. "106.1, 106.3" etc. since U.S. radio stations broadcast on odd frequencies. The problem is that here in Europe radio stations broadcast on even numbered frequencies. So unless you pick up a strong signal from a local station it is difficult to tune in. My question is, can this radio model be reprogrammed to temporarily pick up even numbered frequencies while I am here? If so does anyone know how to do it?

1. Ignition position I.
2. Radio off.
3. Press and hold 1-20/DISK.
4. Press and release VOLUME.
5. Wait 3 sec. release 1-20/DISK.
6. Select between EU/US/AU by pressing 1-20/DISK.
7. Turn 1-20/DISK to change to BACK and SAVE.
8. Press 1-20/DISK to SAVE.
9. Done.
