Hey all. I Would like to know what the torque specification is for a 2001 V70 XC.
Since my car didn't come with a owners manual I downloaded a 2002 version PDF.
Is it the same for 2001 and 2002?

Just got some new tires at Discount Tire and they said they put them at 105 ft.lbs. They said this is what Volvo calls for on this car. It seems a little too tight to me.

Btw I got the Yokohama YK580 98H. Any one else using these?

Too much IMO, you may never get them off again!
I tighten them 85-90 lbs tops and haven't lost a wheel yet in 45 years!

I believe the 105 ft. lbs. is correct. I use a 100 flbs torque stick and never had a problem. Plus it's easy to remember a even 100.

Agree with nearly the same experience (only 42 years though).

Cheers,
