The method is straight out of VADIS with only 3 exceptions.
I only have one transverse engine lift so the RH engine lift point is on a chain hoist hung from a rafter.
The car is on jacks and I don't have the fancy transmission lift but a floor jack and some 2x4's to slide the transmission along worked great.
It remains to be seen if moving the replacement transmission UP those 2x4's is as easy!
I removed the whole LH wheel assembly and hung the calipers out of the way.
You can see the bevel gear hanging from the turbo. It does not have to be removed.
Tuck tape is to hold back the wheel well liner.
This is arguably the easy part so stand by for tales of woe.......
