Resolution to Low XC70 Armrest

My center console armrest had always been too low for my 6'4" frame. The small armrest is the OEM armrest from my 05 XC70. The other armrest is what the OEM arm rest looks like after you add 3" of additional padding.

That's not bad. Not bad at all. I wonder what kind of a killing could be made offering one for the XC60 which is not only even lower than the one in the XC70 but is also lower than the XC60's door armrest, making you kind of lean or sit half sideways for maximum comfort.

Very nice indeed. I too am 6'4, and have a 2005 xc70. I opted for a home-made custom arm rest version. Found some scrap foam and sewed on material from local upholstery shop. Then tied on with a leather strip, and a small bit of velcro. Also in the pic you can see the prototype development of the home made oh-my-god bar handle cover - thus reducing the likelihood of passenger outer thigh burns/freezes. Not nearly as tailored as the $95 version, but for $5 it does the trick - and it is removable for the day when a petite sweetie needs to take the wheel.
