Hi! All
Just was checking the voltages on my NEWLY installed battery(dealer replaced bad celled battery). Checked the voltage at the terminal under the hood at 12.40 volts. Opened the door and watched the voltage drop until it seemed to level off at 12.24. With the engine running it showed a good 14.4 volts cold and 14.30 volts after a short drive. My question/concern is the non charging voltage of 12.25V. This seems very low for any vehicle that I have ever checked. Usually I would see something in the neighborhood of 13.30V. Out of curiosity, has anyone checked theirs.
