Starting to get a surge of about 500rpm when under load at freeway speeds trying to accelerate uphill in 3500rpm range. No codes. Don't want to just throw parts at it as I can't see anything that could be causing it like cracked intake or leak.
Reading prior posts my two guesses are the boost control valve or ignition coil. Did have one coil go out but threw a code, maybe the others are going and just aren't so bad to code?
Idea's or suggestions?
