Headlight Beam Pattern

Is the beam pattern supposed to be different between the driver and passenger side? I noticed my passenger side is more spread out and as a result seems less bright.

Yes. In fact, there is a build parameter reported by the car via VIDA/DiCE that indicates whether the car is equipped with a "left-handed" or "right-handed" lighting system.

Of course, if the the NA market cars were equipped with EU spec lights the difference would be even more noticeable with a sharper cut off on the oncoming traffic side of the pattern and a more definite rise to the curb side.
