Wrong
The cheapest for VOLVO parts is www.tascaparts.com
Groton and IPD are OK for aftermarket

and Erie is USED parts only

I think that IPD actually sells Weather Tech for this car...try this link: http://www.ipdusa.com/prodtype.asp?CAT_ID=1021&numRecordPosition=0&categorycrumbs=999

Or call them...

Weathertech mats ARE available for newer XCs
Also I've NEVER seen a Volvo rubber mat "tear apart"...

What in the world do you do to your mats?!

My nearly 10 year-old Volvo winter mats are starting to "tear" apart, mostly on the drivers side one. They have "dried out" and have cracked especially in the areas where they have had the highest foot pressure or where the feet have slide across the surface on a regular basis. These were really nice mats but they are 10 years old now and have only been in this condition for the past year or so. I will say that the rear floor mats are in decent condition but have had relatively minimal use in comparison. Everything wears and after 10 years I think they have done OK, but now its time to replace them.

Cheers,

Bill

Thanks guys

quick update I received some emails regarding the parts

www.FCPGroton.com cheapest had all parts except one (mostly aftermarket), great value and special discount for forum members.

www.tascaparts.com Has all oem parts and best price (Higher then fcpgroton but all oem)

waiting on some more emails, but overall they are the best 2 companies so far, some others have not gotten back to me and some are way to pricey....

................................

Yeah my liners are the oem ones, that come with the car they are some sort of mesh, not rubber, I want to get some rubber ones.

What do you expect after 6 years of daily driving the liners will eventually give in, I expect the rubber ones to take much more abuse

The Berber mats?
Those are OEM XC mats and of course will come apart after years of usage!
They are not winter mats per se but do hold up better than carpet mats

I am using Volvo rubber mats and they have held up very well over eight years. They are flexible and use the raised knobs that are used by the berber mats to hold them in place. I liked the rigid ones from Volvo for the DL more but these are fine.

Sounds good to me, looks like we have a winner, Now I just have to find some one that sells em.......

Weather tech does not use the knobs right ?

I got mine at the nearest Volvo dealer. As usual, they seemed expensive (I can't remember how much) but they have been worth it.

Anyways after 10 emails or so they refused to receive payment from me because I am not in the states at the moment (Expat in saudi, I work for an oil company here).

I asked them to ship my parts to my home address in the US they said no (Offered to pay with a US credit card, registered to the same address)still no, Offered to have my shipping company pay for the order and ship it to them directly they still said no.....

Offered to pay with paypal (verified to a US address), still said no.......... anyways this just thought me a valuable lesson, cheapest is not always the best way to go.

They only want a bank wire, and I am a foreigner here in the middle of the F****** desert with no bank account (I get payed in the US, no use for an account here anyways) and I cant get decent service.

This is the last time I will ever use this company, This has really left in a bad mood I have even offer that I let one of my friends pay for it, "AS LONG AS THIS SHIPMENT IS FOR YOU NO MATTER WHO PAYS FOR IT AND WHERE WE SHIP IT TO WE CANT DO IT SORRY ITS NOT ME ITS MY MANGER "

Usually companies will go outta of the way to try to help but not them.....

so sad

Maybe you should copy/paste your disappointment in as many threads as possible just in case one of us missed it. Just sayin'.

Its not that, Its just that I added it to this tread to continue the progress and i decided that its too important not to have a tread by-itself.......
