Has anyone out there come across a good quality sunshade that fits the XC's massive front windshield? Would've come in handy during some of those extra long waits at the ferry terminal. http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif

Hi Art,
I bought a custom-fit HEATSHIELD at my dealership. Perfect fit and good quality. Cost me around $30 if I remember correctly.

Hi Art,
Perhaps it's time for a "volvoXC.com" sunshade. It could have just the right dimension http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

Ha -- good idea Willy.

FYI -- The "Heat Shield" sold by Canvas Works, Sunnyvale, CA (Customer Service 1-800-777-6405)

This sun shield seems to have a high approval rating from folks in the sun belt areas. http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

NOT A BAD IDEA TO SEE IF THEY WOULD ADD LOGO AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE ON THIS WEB SITE BUT DROP SHIP

Thanks for the referral Pico! I'll check to see if there are any Canadian distributors for the Heatshield product. http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

Willy, I also think that applying the site's domain name on the sunshade is a great idea, though we'd first need to get approval from our esteemed webmaster on this one. http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I used to have a pretty cool one that attached to each A-pillar and via elastics retracted accordian style. It pulled out from each side and then velcroed together in the center. I'll check the make tonight.
