2001, XCV70, 150K. I'm going to replace the fuel filter. Can anyone give me an idea of where it is at and what kind of time it takes to replace? Also, if there is a resource link that would help too. Thanks.

Look under the car in front of passenger (right) side rear wheel.
You'll see a big silver cylinder. There's one bolt/band holding it in, and clips on each end. Squeeze the clips and the hoses slide right off.
Install is reverse.

Keep in mind the system is under pressure, so have a pan underneath, or bleed the fuel line. (I just put a pan under, pop the hose and let it squirt out)
And it will squirt (spray) out, so be forewarned. (no zooming in for a close look as you disconnect [thumbup]) Wear latex/nitrile gloves unless you like smelling like sunoco's finest

Pretty simple, took me 10 mins, good luck

There's a schrader valve in the line to relieve pressure. Relieve the pressure and you'll have much less spillage.

Like Q-ship said, very simple, super quick.
