Can air vents be removed easily? I need to repair or replace the center vents.

Can air vents be removed easily? I need to repair or replace the center vents.

The front center? I have pulled mined out by using a very small flat-bladed screwdriver (about 1 to 2 mm wide) and using it to pry up the small "catch=tabs" visible within the vents.
There are 2 upper and 2 lower "catches" (1 narrow and 1 wider). Use the small s/d and pry up on one while using your other hand's finger/nail prying outwards on the outer edge of the vent. When you pry up on the tabs; the vent will come out.
The trick is to keeping enough outward pulling pressure on the vent to keep the pried tabs out while trying to pry the other tabs working all 4 tabs out.
