Any big green monsters to look for in an '02 that they fixed in '03 and later? I'm aware that the AWD and engine are different, but is an '02 for an average married guy with kids going to work out just fine?

tranny still worrisome, so skip '02 and get '03 or newer

I have an '02 and have put a tonne of kms on it; but when comparing it to all my previous Volvos which also had high mileage at the end, I'd have to agree with JDA2000. Go for an '04+ if you can.

Cheers,

Bill

... as a very new owner of a 2002, I am obligated to say "2002 is fine and just as good as the rest" (crossing all of my fingers and toes)
