Hello, I have a 2003 Volvo XC70 with Grey Trim,
I have viewed every post to date concerning removal of the armrest/ cupholder assembly. There are several links to the removal instructions, but each link leads to iinstructions for removal of armrest without cupholder assembly. My armrest is different with what appears to be two shafts, one from each side. I was able to remove the two catches, one from each side, but do not want to damage the shafts in the removal process. Is there a special Volvo tool? They certainly do not just push together and pull straight out. There would be no way to push the sides of the shaft which are surrounded by the plastic of the assembly. My armrest lid was broken when I purchased the vehicle.
Thanks
