"Thump" when pulling away...

Not all the time but more often if I put the foot down.
From the rear of the vehicle.
Any ideas'?

Parking brake shoe has separated and is now sticking. Replace the shoes.

My shoes stuck, separated, rotated and broke off a lump of aluminium that keeps the expander in line. A quick repair, drilled and tapped the hub and bolted the lump back on., That was only one small bang though, if you are getting it everytime you pull off then it could be the angle gear collar slipping teeth.
