Anti skid service required

I have a 2003 Volvo S80. The "anti skid service required" came on. Prior to this happening my car was making a ticking sound. Can someone give me some information on this. Now my message says "Anti skid temporarily off". None of the information is in the book. Would like to know prior to going to the dealer. They are not to honest anymore. Tired of spending thousands.

Same problem on mine... Check your pads and rotors... I was getting a clicking noise and also the anti skid warning came on

My rotors and pads were so worn that there was no material left on them..

I changed the front and rears no problems at all now.
