Was going snowmobileing the other day. Was hauling the ski doo and trailer with the XC and heading for the hills.
Roads were pretty messy and I was turning left from one secondary highway to another. I turned the wheel, and the car/trailer didn't seem to react... THen all the sudden the car went left and the trailer jackknifed. Then I just held on and slid into the 6 foot high snowmank with some good momentum. I heard the CRUNCH! And there I was stuck..... 2 seconds later a pickup truck arrived hauling a snowmobile as well and he pulled the XC and the trailer out as one. "2 broken rope's later"
It wasn't pretty, both passenger doors were largely dented in on my platinum green XC. I was pleasently surprised when I pulled the door panels off and was able to "POP" the dents out. With the force of my hand! It is litererally undectable... and I was expecting the worst!
I now drive a little slower when hauling the trailer... lesson learned.
