145K on my car. Getting rear shocks/springs and rear rotors and pads replaced soon. Was considering replacing rear wheel bearings while in there. The bearings are sold individually, without the hub (unlike the front hubs, which include the bearing in the assembly). Not many places even sell the AWD rear wheel hub, but all Euro parts sites sell the AWD rear wheel bearings...
AWD rear wheel bearing:

Rear wheel hub:
(Also available at Tasca Volvo for a few bucks cheaper, but they have pic here)

So, I guess my questions are how hard (or possible) is it to remove old bearings from hub and replace?
Can I just get new bearings and snap rings, or do I need to buy new wheel hubs for each side as well?
How much extra labor would be involved vs. just rotor/pad job?
And do the hubs themselves fail typically, or just the bearing (which from reading the forum is quite common)?
Any knowledge on this would be great. I am not doing work myself, have a mechanic doing it. Thanks.
