IPod on 99XC

You need a unit behind the radio like a USA SPEC PA HON11
(or an el cheapo that uses a cassette insert)

I bought an aftermarket Kenwood head unit with iPod interface and Bluetooth handsfree telephone from Crutchfield for about $75 more than the USA Spec adapter and am super happy with the setup. Was able to sell the factory radio on Craigslist to cover the cost.
