Unknown Valve

I'm trying to identify this valve associated with the intake or vacuum system. I opened the hood today to find the cap on this valve broken and a spring sticking out of it. It is located on the driver side towards the front. It looks to have three to four hoses going to it and an electrical connection on top. One hose comes off the intake manifold. Another goes to the brake booster I think. Any help would be appreciated.

probably the vacuum check valve for the vacuum pump.

Replace it ASAP or you'll end destroying the brake booster diaphragm.
