I just bought an 02 V70 XC and took it on a short logging road test drive. I bombed up and down about 2,000 vertical of bumpy road and my nine month old son slept through it all. Including the two steep jeep roads I motored up. Tried the first one really slow in winter mode and failed. Tried again with momentum in D and flew up easily! Overall I'm favorably impressed so far but I plan to do a side by side soon with my 91 subbie and my parents 2001 outback. I'll repost when I know more!
