cross post from volvospeed.com figured i need to share this with as many of my xc90 brothers/sisters that i could.....Enjoy

So i was on a mission to get 18" PEGS to replace my beat up 18" Atlantis wheels. Taking the advice from a friend that said "Oh yeah they will fit" I bought them. XC90's have a 67.1 centerbore, theres are 65.1. They dont work :( Now that i had the afternoon free since i was planning to mount my wheels onto the XC90 and do some more HIDZ in the hi beam, fogs, and add another set to the rear tail lights. I have a full AIR RIde setup and didnt want that to start rusting out so......MUUUUAAAH <-----thats supposed to be a evil laugh LOL

I added the following to the XC90

Two ViAIR 480C Compressors
One 5 Gallon Tank
One 1/2" to 4 1/4" solenoid
One Set (4pcs) of Hornblasters Airhorns
One 1/2" Solenoid

This recipe = LOUD @SS GTF out of my way sound.

Only problem is you are honking at the guy behind you. I actually ran a cheap airhorn setup on my first Volvo, an 85 240. Loved to scare folks walking up in front of the car. it was a 2 horn and was WICKED loud.

it is NOT a feasible option to mount it in the front NOR is it a good idea to face these foward. since road dirt and grime will build up in the horns.

I do have a onboard air system in my C70 too. 1 gal tank is tucked up inside my front left fender along with the PA system. look here

Truck??? It is a tall station wagon at best.. A raised Ford Pinto would classify
as a "truck" too?

lol, from reading your signature line.....a truck to you must be something from dodge, ford, or gm. in your case a FORD hence the pinto reference. to you a truck must be climbed up into, and rumble as it goes down the street. the volvo is probably your wifes car and you got it for HER, but you drive it all the time because you cant stand how the ford drives. LOL. we all know what ford stands for....Found on Road dead, id must rather be Cummins than just stroke'n like you are.

btw, my glorified SUV is actually a lowered station wagon with stuff you wish you can do to your ford.

hate all you want stroker,[cussing]
