05' s60r steering wheel on 01' xc70?

Just wondering if anyone knows if these two years and models will work? I'm thinking so.. but wanted a little reassurance before I buy. Also Will it trigger the Airbag light or any other sensors if I remove the steering wheel? Thanks

I believe it works fine. Im also about to do it.
Make sure you don't use the Sat Nav R wheel.

no, if you disconnect the battery before you unplug any SRS connectors.

cool.. thanks.. im about to buy a steering wheel... and put one on...i like the color Volvo Logo.. and the sleeker design...

I just got off the phone with a Volvo dismantler..they said the Clock springs are different on these two years.. and he was not sure if they would work.. meaning the Airbag might not be compatible.. Steering wheel should fit. but.. do I want to sacrifice safety? Anybody with any input??
