Hi,

when I bought my car (used) it only had the rear winter mats but not the front ones.
I have been looking everywhere online but they only sell the 4 set complete for the crazy price of 100 $.

I had a look around in the shops, particularly CA, but cannot find universal ones that can fit.
I also spoke to the WeatherTech guys, but they are not able to supply the mats for 06 models.

Did any of you find a solution, maybe cutting some universal mat? I like very much the Stanley MaxTraction, they look very good in quality and have a fair price.

Just bought these a few weeks back for my 2006 XC70:

You can buy just for the front, or just for the rear. The front fit really well, the rear not as well, but they have the high sides similar to the Weathertech I have in our other car, which I like.

Christian,

thank you very much, you solved me a problem.

The mats look exactly what I am after, even if the color does not match, I will go for them anyhow!

Again, many thanks for your tip.[happy]

Usually Volvo has wintercampaigns where they offer these rubber mats and other wintergear against reduced prices usually 50% discount.

I'd wait a few weeks and go for the Volvo OEM mats as they fit perfectly in size and color.

Bought 'em 2 years ago and do not use the carpet floormats anymore.

I bought a set of the Weathertech mats for my 2006 XC70 and in spite of my best efforts, the water from the snow melting off my shoes always wound up under the mat, soaking the carpet. Got a set of OEM mats from my dealer and last winter no water leaked from the mat onto the carpet.

I recommend getting the OEM mats.
