Chirp noise MY04 XC70

there us an audible chirp noise that you can hear when outside the vehicle as it moves at low speed. for example turning around in a parking lot or something. cannot determine if it has to do with sterring or tranny. any thoughts.

turns out that the noise is from changing drive modes. when sitting at idle and changing from P to R to D it seems thw chirp has to do with the engagment of the mode. is this normal?
