I picked up some used 17" XC-90 wheels cheap and found them having larger hubs, requiring a hub centric ring. The space is just enough over/under that off the shelf rings will not do the trick. A local wheel store suggested a machine shop for a set of custom rings. He further advised his guides showed the hubs of the 70 and 90 to be the same size.

Anyways, the price will be about $50 for a set of four. Does any of this make sense?

1 - its very cheap
2 - its very small diameter differences, so be careful with these rings, they will be about 2mm thick, - easy to bend.
3 - clean your hubs and use anti sieze prior to install.
4 hopefully its a spacer with hub centric pilot and chamfers - this would be more durable.

I got a set of these and they're working perfectly.
Check the sizes first. You will need to get XC90 -> 65.1mm

Listing is for 1 ring. - so buy 4 or 5 :D

I use these rings from 1010tires to mount XC90 wheels on my XC70, a little pricey but they get the job done.

Thanks guys. Now that I know we can stop the vibrations, I'll get the wheels refinished.
