Paint cracking

I have noticed symmetrical hairline cracks on the rear hatch. They are located on the upper outside of where the license plate insert begins. Does anyone else have this defect?

I do not. Maybe the plate bolts were overtightened? Or has someonr been pulling the hatch down then push/pulling on the license plate to close the lid? That could do it.
