K&N Oil Filter makes Mahle filter look flimsy!

So I just got the K&N oil filter I ordered for my XC70 today; this thing is solid. Now the construction of the Mahle filter is not bad, but this K&N filter is built like a tank. I just had to post this since I wasn't expecting much from this filter as I got a good deal on it. Here are some pictures! :cool:

I will post comments once I do my next oil change; these are suppose to increase oil flow which is crucial to our engines. :D

Please let us know. My Mahle's look good, and pass the twist test @ their 5k replacments. I'd have to justify the cost.

I love the K&N drop in air filters - I'm a big fan of flow, and the greenness of not tossing paper!

Are you changing these with each oil change?
