My turbo is blowing on the high pressure side. Can hear it when I give it a boot. I took botton tray off and found the leak at the join in the hard plastic pipe at the back of the engine. It is the pipe that goes from the turbo to the intercooler. I need a new gasket to fit between the two pipes. I took the join apart and filled it with silicone and it is fine now. Anyone know what the gasket is called and where I can get it from. Part number would be great ;-)

I've got the same leak. When I first took the rubber coupler off I thought "What a stupid, weak piece of crap connection" - I need to get the IPD one.

Isn't this the connection someone used a bicycle tube to beef up?

I just checked - it is. Maybe I'll try that first.

Edit - added: Here's what mine looked like before I took it apart and cleaned it to make sure that's where the leak was coming from:

It is not a rubber hose it is a hard plastic pipe that runs from the turbo, under the engine, back up the front and then attaches to a rubber hose. It travels under the engine in hard plastic, not rubber. There is a join in the plastic about half way along, just as it bends under the engine.

Oh right - high pressure side. Mine leaks on the other side, where the plastic tube on top of the engine is connected to a rubber piece at the back of the engine. Isn't that what the smaller piece of the IPD kit is for?

It is the pipe that goes from the turbo to the intercooler.
On the B5244T3 the charged air pipe runs over the top of the engine. What engine do you have?
