I like to adjust my door mirrors so that the blind spots are eliminated. However, I cannot adjust my driver side mirror sufficiently "outwards" to do this. It works just fine on the passenger side. Is there any way to further adjust the drivers side mirror?
For those who are not familiar with the technique, this is where you lean your head against the door window and then adjust the mirror so that you can just see the rear of the car. On the other side, lean your head towards the centre of the car and adjust the passenger mirror so that you can just see the rear on that side. Adjust the rear view mirror in the normal way to maximize the view. Now when you sit in the normal driving position, you have almost 180 degrees of rear view via the three mirrors.
