Does anyone have a guide for removing the front bumper of a 2006 XC70? The guide in the resources section is for older models only.

I went on eBay looking for manuals, and found the VADIS.

Look for VADIS on eBay, it's got it all..

A couple of months ago, I cracked this mystery on my 06, in order to access the windshield washer pump.

This was amazingly simple, once you figure out how they designed in the simplicity. When you get to lifting/refitting it, a helper is helpful.

Hope this helps,

Jim

It is interesting what this eBay post has to say about the copyright on VADIS. The EU ruling sited in the ad pertains only to the use of VADIS by independent garages in the EU (and specifically with DaimlerChrysler, Toyota, General Motors and Fiat products), with no mention that I could find of consumer use in the EU or elsewhere. In any case and as I stated in my other post on using VADIS, I wouldn't worry about the copyright situation as this borders on an "all's fair" situation with Volvo protecting information that should rightfully be provided to the owners of its products. Not that that has any legal standing but the US Congress is looking at the situation so....

But just as I did say in my other post, I wouldn't buy it, I'd download it for free via a torrent. I have obtained both VADIS 2005 and VIDA that way and both have been clean useable copies. All you are out is the bandwidth as they are sizeable applications but if your ISP is like mine its unlimited use anyway.

Cheers,

Bill
