Ordered XC70 finally

Diesel LE, all options except family pack. And without IR-protected windscreen which cannot be ordered together with ACC after all.

Delivery time: End of June 2010! Will XC70 be still relevant so far in the future? By that time we all be driving flying cars and go to holidays to the Moon. And wear spandex silver clothing.

Congrats on your purchase. I know you had some earlier doubts about the Volvo but I'm pleased you've been able to resolve them to your satisfaction. We'll be looking at finalising our decision on a new XC70 by the end of March. Out of idle (ie read self-interested) curiosity, what sort of discount in percentage terms over list price did you end up with? Also colour, internal trim?

Bit surprised about the 4-5 month delivery. Our last two factory orders (the XC in 2005 and our C30 in 2008) were both only 3-4 months.

Discount is about 5%. Could be more if we didn't have all the options. In sale contract the discount is around 10% though.

Color is Oyster Grey, interior all beige.

Took almost 4 months from order to delivery for me.

Worth the wait to get exactly what you want though...
