We have a 2005 XC70 with a HU-650 head unit. We also have an after market I-Pod adapter that connects to the back of the unit and is accessed via the SAT channel. That item has been in for a couple of years. Recently, we have noticed some strange things:
--If the radio is on it may change randomly to another FM channel, not like 97.3 to 103.4 but from FM1 to FM3 or from FM1 to SAT, or from SAT to FM2.
-- The fast forward button on the steering wheel seems to not work when the things above are messed up.
I cannot pin down a pattern yet to the issues above, but I am curious if there is an electrical module of some type involved outside of the Head Unit itself.
