One owner dealer maintained to 200k [thumbup] bought it for parts but kinda like the color so maybe part out the Ventian Red and swap over everything in to this instead hmmmmmmmm

And Jim ... went for way to much ... but pimp for parts :D

I have a gut feeling the tranny is toast ..... consideirng the milage if it wasnt change already ?

$1500 picked up total with gas to drive up and back.

4 hrs away .

I figure if I part it .

My Brother inlaw needs hood and such for his 04S60 AWD so there goes $700 of cost I need to recover
so that will be hood , radsupport and such along with bumper items.

So $700 leaves me with
Motor -200 for oilpan
Tranny -$0
Fenders $150 each
Doors $200 each
Trunk $200
Full interior $100-$500

So min I will break even max i will make $500 off it .

Or what I kinda thinking is was just getting to expensive for the previous single owner to take it to the dealer every time for work :eek: wich in that case I would of ditched the car also lol

Even if it does need that list of stuff it will go manual FWD and the rest i have sitting around in the shop :D

Bet the bevel gear is shot and the transmission is dead. Or you could get really really lucky and the red error light is just low coolant. :) lol

So hood is still stuck shut and the wires broken into the hoodlatch area so cant get he hood open .

Tried jumping from the batterie area and still cant get it to turn over.

goign to put in a new batterie tomorrow and go from there.

Kinda thinking ...

ETM failed or something to that affect and since he couldnt open the hood the sold it off ?

Only code was a overboost code and bad tcv code.

maybe blown motor ?

Word on that - point in fact it will throw erroneous codes as well. Give the battery a good charge and see what it throws then.

yeah going to be next week till I get to it , probally just snag a Redtop Optima and throw it in and go from there.
