Swedspeed.com, the online community for Volvo enthusiasts, along with Annapolis Volvo Subaru will be holding a Volvo show & shine next to Annapolis Volvo Subaru on Saturday, April 27, 2002 at 333 Busch's Frontage Rd., Annapolis, MD 21401.
Participant registration will begin at 9AM at the show location in the parking lot just between the dealership and the Wawa Convenience Store. Each Participant will be given a ballot to vote for their favorite Volvos on hand. Each car entered will pay a fee of บ, which will be donated 100% to the Annapolis YWCA, and door prizes will be awarded to the winning cars in each class.
Door prizes will be awarded to class winners at 3PM. Winners must be in attendance at 3PM if they wish to receive their prizes.
Also occuring on the same weekend is the Annapolis/Baltimore leg of the Volvo Ocean Race, an exciting sea race around the world sponsored by Volvo.
Attendees can browse through the Annapolis Volvo dealership or go down to Sandy Point State Park and enjoy some of the Volvo Ocean Race festivities, though remember that votes will most likely be cast for cars that are present at the dealership, and thus if you leave in your car during the afternoon, your car might not receive votes from attendees who cast their votes while you are gone.
