oil change for 2006 xc90

Hi all, am brand new to this posting stuff, so please bear with me. I recently purchased a 2006 xc90, and like to do my own oil/filter changes. I can't seem to locate the drain plug or the oil filter. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

- Engine version?
- Did you remove the plastic plate?

Also.. Do you have the special filter removal tool? Makes it MUCH easier.. Almost
a required item.
