XC60 R-Design at Frankfurt Auto Show

Volvo unveiled three models at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month: the refreshed C70, the refreshed C30 and the XC60 R-Design.

The XC60 R-Design is scheduled to arrive in the United States next spring. Here are some vehicle highlights:

Exterior

▪▪ Front fog light décor in silk metal finish
▪▪ Door mirror housings in silk metal finish
▪▪ Five-spoke 20-inch aluminum wheels
▪▪ Sill moldings in aluminum look
▪▪ Twin chromed tailpipes
▪▪ Color-matched lower body moldings
▪▪ Chrome-plated rear skid-plate with black mesh
▪▪ Sport chassis
▪▪ Four body colors, including the R-Design exclusive color of Passion Red

Interior

▪▪ Sport seats
▪▪ Unique upholstery with a choice of two color combinations
▪▪ Embossed R-Design emblem in the front backrests
▪▪ Watch Dial instrument panel with blue gauges
▪▪ R-Design sport steering wheel trimmed in perforated leather
▪▪ Aluminum sport pedals
▪▪ R-Design center stack trim with a unique décor pattern
▪▪ Gear selector trimmed with perforated leather
▪▪ Off-black sport mats

The XC60 R-Design is scheduled to arrive in the United States next spring.

I emailed Volvo about this and their representative told me that this vehicle won't be available in North America until Fall 2010 as a 2011 model. When it does become available to order I plan to put mine in for one in Passion Red :D

I found this, unfortunately though no R-Design XC60's have arrived at any of my three local dealers as of yet. I can't wait any more! :eek:

I just got my 2011 R-design at the FDC, here are some pictures.
I can't wait until it gets delivered, end of Nov 10.

Loving my R Design got it last year and it's absolutely amazing - more powerful then my mod XC90 V8 and just a nimble - Thank you Volvo!
