When do you expect the new XC70 model to show up?  I would have thought in 2006, but it might be in 2005.  I guess the new XC is based upon the ACC.

I think only a few happy insiders know those dates. From what I have read on the different boards (i.e. all hearsay) it looks like there is going to be a "refresher" for the current XC in 2005/2006 (along with the V70) and a new model in 2007/2008. My guess is the refresher will have some new features from the acc, to put to the test before the "new" Xc70 hits the road.....

I'd say that we should watch for the "special edition" of the XC70.  That should be a good gauge.  There always seems to be a special edition.... and this year is no exception- take a look at the S40/V40 special edition expected toward the end of '04.  You can order one now... http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

As for the speculation on the XC70.  With the introduction of the new p1's next year, my vote is for the trim changes, a new s80, then the 70 series the year after.  2007?  Any bets?
