Has anyone had worn brake pads replaced under Volvo Wear and Tear coverage? In reading the fine print of the coverage that was included with our recent '09 XC70 purchase, it says that pads are covered, but only if the rotors need replacement under the program. My interest is in the traditional Volvo dealer claim that they will only replace pads and rotors together, and almost never want to replace just the pads, even though rotors usually look OK at end of first set of pads. My guess is that Volvo USA will claim that the pads can now be separately replaced, until after the 60k coverage period. As you can guess, I expect that our '09 will need at least pads within 60k city/surburban miles, but I would not expect the rotors to be gone at the end of first pads.
