Is it worth it?

I am buying my 2007 XC70 with 25,000 babied miles on it for $17,500 from Volvo when my lease is done. However my local Volvo dealer wants me to buy it through them, this is what they offered me. They will buy the car from Volvo for $16,000 and then CPO (certify) and then sell it to me for $17,500 plus tax. They know my car inside and out and the car only needs tires to pass certification. Is it worth it? Their reason for doing this is to show a CPO transaction for August and to get their shop some work.

Your dealer is making all of $350 and you get a CPO!
(CPO dealer cost is $1150)

Besides all that, your car is worth more these days.
Sell it to me for 17,500 and we can split the profits!
